Grant Applications - Ceisiadau am Grantiau

Caldicot Town Council, has a grants system which provides financial support to local organisations.

Town Council’s limited funds for donations are for benefits to activities which are in the interest of and benefit to as many people as possible within Caldicot.

Each civic year, Caldicot Town Council financially support a number of functions and activities, which benefit the people of Caldicot.

Caldicot Town Council has contributed financially to:

  • Events, Carnival, Christmas Light switch On, Firework Display and Caldicot Castle
  • Purchase of Christmas trees and lights for Caldicot (Town Centre, Oakley Way, West End wards)
  • CCTV cameras
  • Dog Waste Bins
  • Five Defibrillators located across Caldicot
  • King George V Playing Field Play area – Child and Adult equipment
  • Contribution to Citizens Advice Bureau
  • Local Community Groups/organisations/projects - Scouts, Youth Service, Libraries (Big Read Challenge), Jazz Band, St. Mary’s Church Hall Lunches, St Joseph's Amateur Boxing Club, Caldicot Community Working Together.

Through devolution of services, Caldicot Town Council has adopted the Jubilee Way Toilets from Monmouthshire County Council and will continue to support services, such as cleaning of the town, grass cutting and maintenance.

The Council adopted a 5 year strategy which identified three priorities; community well-being, children and young people and elderly and disabled. The Council is committed to supporting these groups and has done so through contributions to the CAB, Playscheme and Church Lunches, as well as availability of the Town Council buildings as venues for community groups to use (hosting Foodbank, Community Connections and ‘I-Need’ charity).

Grants Committee Meetings for 2021/2022 will be held on 13/07/2021, 12th October 2021 and 8th February 2022.

Mae gan Gyngor Tref Cil-y-coed system grantiau sy’n rhoi cefnogaeth ariannol i fudiadau lleol.

Mae cronfeydd cyfyngedig y Cyngor Tref ar gyfer cyfraniadau er budd gweithgareddau sydd er budd cynifer o bobl ag sy’n bosibl o fewn Cil-y-coed. Os dymunwch wneud cais cysylltwch â swyddfa’r Cyngor Tref neu lenwi Ffurflen Cais am Grant os gwelwch yn dda.

Bob blwyddyn ddinesig mae Cyngor Tref Cil-y-coed yn rhoi cefnogaeth ariannol i nifer o ddigwyddiadau a gweithgareddau er budd pobl Cil-y-coed.

  • Ardal Cae Chwarae Brenin Siôr V – Offer i blant ac oedolion
  • Cyfraniad at Cyngor Ar Bopeth

Drwy ddatganoli gwasanaethau mae Cyngor Tref Cil-y-coed wedi mabwysiadu toiledau Ffordd Jiwbilî gan Gyngor Sir Fynwy a bydd yn parhau i gefnogi gwasanaethau megis glanhau’r tref, torri glaswellt a chynnal a chadw.

Mabwysiadodd y Cyngor strategaeth 5 mlynedd a ddynododd dair blaenoriaeth: lles y gymuned, plant a phobl ifanc a’r oedrannus a’r anabl. Mae’r Cyngor yn ymroddedig i gefnogi’r grwpiau hyn a gwnaeth hynny drwy gyfraniadau i CAB, Cynllun Chwarae a Chiniawau Eglwys, yn ogystal a rhoi adeiladau Cyngor y Dref ar gael fel safleoedd i grwpiau cymunedol eu defnyddio (cynnal Banc Bwyd, Cysylltiadau Cymunedol ac elusen ‘I-Need’).
