A466 Road Closure

Published: 10 May 2019

The A466 is currently closed (from the 7th May) between St Arvans and Tintern to undertake stabilisation works of a 200m section of unstable cliff face. Due to the confined nature of the road and surrounding area it has been necessary to close the road for safety reasons while the works are undertaken. The works are expected to take 7 weeks to complete until the end of June. Signing is in place at Chepstow, Monmouth and along the route with the main diversion along the B4293 via Devauden and Trelleck.
